Tyler stayed over Nic's place last night. eating and playing video games. This morning. Linda picked him up and they had lunch. This afternoon there was the healing ceremony in the Granby Labyrinth which Ty says was very cool. At the ceremony he hung out with friends and is spending the evening with them at another friends house playing "Super Smash Brothers". Soon, Tyler will need a social secretary.

Tyler got his 1st AP Psych test back, and the results are very good. I won't go into detail as to not embarrass the kid, but It seems there is little to no reason to worry, so far, academically. We are keeping close tabs on him academically, as we have always try to do in the past, but with the modifications to his academic structure, there are people helping us with this responsibility. Bottom line... he is doing very well, and striving to fit in where he left off last May.

Off to school then therapy. The other day Tyler called Larry Fiddler (our friend at the Lakota Nation), he was delighted to hear from him, and was happy we are planning a trip to visit in April. This will be a wonderful experience for all. I am still elated at the remarkable connection between Larry and Tyler. They both are truly kindred spirits. The kindness Larry has extended towards all of us is uplifting beyond words.

Tyler's therapists say he is doing very well. However, for the people who knew him before the injury, it is apparent how far he still has to go. With the absolute outcome still something in question, there is a great deal of stress and frustration on everyone's part. School is going well for Ty, he had a quiz and a test so far this week, and he feels very confident in both results.

School, then afternoon therapy. Ty is still dependent on medications to maintain the status quo even though he has been weened off one evening pill. There were auditions for the December play A Christmas Carol last night. Tyler is on the lighting crew, but went to check out the talent, and see some buddies.

With events proceeding at a predictable and snail like pace, it has been suggested, the time has come to shut down the blog. Tyler is doing well at school, and working diligently at his therapies. He has been blessed with the type of wonderful friends who have picked up right where he left off. I'm thinking of keeping the blog, and just added notice as events dictate. This doesn't mean Tyler's journey is over, far from it. He has a long way to go, and no guarantee of the ultimate results when he gets there. Regardless of the blog, please keep the positive vibes and prayers coming. Your constant and continued support has inspired us all.

Tyler had a very busy day yesterday. He hung around with friends all day, building a robotic arm, eating, and shopping. Ty is on the robotics team at school, and may be one of the captains this year. He is truly grateful for his friends, and the opportunity to be them.
