News Flash-
Tyler opened his eyes,wiggled his toes and gave the nurses a thumbs up, all on command. From all preliminary indications, we've been knocking and finally Ty has answered the door.
"Perseverance is a great element of success;
if you only knock long enough and loud enough at the gate
you are sure to wake up somebody."
-Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
We are elated!!!!!!!!! What a coincidence, this progress takes place on the same day we do the ceremony to alter Tyler's Hebrew name (an old tradition to facilitate healing and recovery). We are cautiously overjoyed (whatever that means). Ty's vital signs remain within limits, and stable. Perhaps we've begun putting Humpty Dumpty back together again.
Thank you for all the prayers
We all want to sing and dance, yet it's important to remember there is still a long way to go. But it sure feels like we got the car all gassed up and out of the driveway. We will be in early to see Ty, and keep everyone informed.
Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you:
I have called you by your name, you are mine.
Should you pass through the sea, I will be there with you;
or through rivers, they will not swallow you up.
Should you walk through fire, you will not be scorched
and the flames will not burn you...
Do not be afraid, for I am with you.
—Isaiah 43
