Ty loved the aqua-therapy, and saw the eye specialist. I'll know more about the eye exam later I hope. He began contributing to the Blog, even though it's a bit of a Herculean effort, it makes him feel more connected. For the first time since his accident I could hear remnants of the old Tyler voice, it was all I could do to keep from breaking down with joy. I watched his stretching PT session, that kid is so focused and determined to get well, my heart soared. I don't know the words to describe how much we love that boy.
Some men see things as they are and ask why, I see things that never were and say, why not.

When Brian and I visited Ty last weekend, we definitely saw "Tyler". His sense of humor and smile were evident, and other than a softer voice, he was all there. He even knew exactly when he was allowed to buzz the nurse for his thick soda. It was heartening to see him.
