To say Tyler is exited about coming home this Friday is the understatement of the year. He is full of chicken casserole, and looking forward to going out to Walmart tonight. Before Friday, the staff will remove the sutures, and prepare him for his departure. Ty is a bit self conscious regarding his shaved head, and the scar, but this is overshadowed by his determination to get better, and the joy of coming home (and hair grows back quickly).
And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

I thought his hair looked fine when I saw it right after the surgery. He's as handsome as ever and there are hats in this world. I think all of us have had bad haircuts in this lifetime, some of them at our own hand, one or two from our mothers.

ReplyDeleteMOST BOYS SHAVE THEIR HEADS ANYWAY IN THE SUMMER TO KEEP THERE NAGGING MOMS FROM COMPLAINING ABOUT THEIR HAIR. HE WILL BE IN STYLE AND FINALLY HOME
