Tyler's Occupational Therapy has ended, and the Speech Therapy will end next week, while the Physical Therapy is scheduled to continue for the foreseeable future. The OT and ST were discontinued not due in any way to the fact Tyler is cured, but rather, professional assistance isn't of any further necessity. He has been given exercises and tasks to practice, the rest is up to him. Therapy went well yesterday, and Ty was picked up at the hospital by Grammy and Marty, then we all met at JG's for dinner.
Tonight is Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. I have never been more grateful to G-d for the blessings bestowed upon me than I am this year. Happy and healthy New Year to all.
(I'm not sure if this is a repeat quote, but it's very appropriate)
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.
-John F. Kennedy
