Happy 225th birthday Granby, CT. After a nice breakfast at Dave's restaurant (Tyler paid, Holy crap), we went to the hardware store to get some sign making materials. Today our town is having a huge celebration (in the rain). Ty and I made a sign thanking the Town of Granby for all their support and placed it at the entrance to Salmon Brook Park, across from the location the accident occurred. Later we plan on swimming to the parade, then attending some of the festivities. This afternoon there's a chance Tyler and friends may go to the Big E. I just want to watch the UConn football game on TV.
I can express no kinder sign of loveThan this kind kiss. O Lord, that lends me life,Lend me a heart replete with thankfulness! For thou hast given me in this beauteous faceA world of earthly blessings to my soul,If sympathy of love unite our thoughts.
— William Shakespeare (1564-1616)
